My snowman fridge
I don't know about you but I love me some snowmen. They, along with nativity sets. pretty much complete my Holiday decorating. I think they are so cute. I was driving around running errands yesterday when it hit me... make a snowman out of my fridge! Sounded simple enough, if I could just clear all the art work and clutter that I seem to have on the front of my fridge all the time. Best part is that most of us can do this for free! I took my trusty circle cutter and cut cirlces in different sizes (2 for the eyes, 5 for the smile and 3 for the buttons) and just taped them on. It would've worked just as well with construction paper, but I didn't have any so I did it with scrapbook paper. I also cut a large triangle out of some orange scrapbook paper. Then I used wrapping paper that I cut in strips and taped. ( I got the wrapping paper free last year with a coupon for Hallmark stores) Doesn't it look so good as a scarf? I know it really didn't need an explaination, its pretty easy. I love it! So simple, but a fun way to add a little pizzaz to your house. I guess I should be thankful for my old white fridge now, huh? ;) Linking up to thrifty decor chick

I copied you and used foam sheets and magnets on the back... it is kind of an emoticon for how the family is feeling, sometimes I come in to big frowns, or worried grins. :) Thanks for sharing your idea.
Tami, this is such a cute idea! Makes me laugh. :-D We're going to do this on our fridge this year. The kitchen theme is snowflakes. It will fit right in! Thanks for sharing your great idea! ~~Rhonda

I made my version to go on a black fridge, though, hope you don't mind if I share for any of your other readers... http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/388299_2769664489129_1483480470_33088835_949959896_n.jpg
@ Anonymous, I just cut the shapes out of paper I had at home. The scarf was wrapping paper and the rest was scrapbook paper. Hope that helps.
I have tried to leave comments on several of your blogs to thank you for stopping by, but can't seem to get it done. It keeps telling me I don't have permission to be there! I don't know what the problem is, but thanks for stopping by, and please know I stopped by all of your blogs too! It did it to mine just now too and I know I have permission to be here!!!
I am the luckiest lady in the world. I have an amazing husband (Clayton) and we have three great kids. I get to be a stay at home mom, which I love and I am so blessed to have found someone that feels as strongly about it as I do. I couldn't ask for more. (ok, maybe a couple more hours of sleep and a housekeeper!)
